Calling All Antenatal Educators and Community Providers: Partner with Us to Support Whānau

Fully Funded Antenatal Classes & Education – Supporting Families Nationwide

This initiative was created to provide support, connection, and aroha for whānau, ensuring that parents across New Zealand continue to have access to essential antenatal education. Thanks to funding from the Wright Family Foundation, we’re responding to the closure of Parents Centre Aotearoa by supporting communities directly impacted.

We know the critical role educators play in empowering whānau, and we want to make this process as simple as possible for you, so you can focus on what matters most, supporting parents and caregivers during the first 1,000 days of parenthood.

Why Join Us?

  • Empower Whānau: Be part of Chloe Wright’s vision to ensure every parent has access to the resources and education they need to navigate parenthood.
  • Flexibility: Run your classes your way, with the support of our funding.
  • Community Impact: Your work will directly benefit families affected by the recent closure of Parents Centre Aotearoa.
  • Paid Opportunity: This is a paid role, not voluntary, recognising the value of your expertise and dedication.

Flexible Funding - Free Antenatal Education Resources & Free Courses

  • This fund may be used to deliver the usual antenatal education courses for free, online or in person, as well as other relevant complimentary courses (such as physical, emotional, nutritional education) that meet the needs of women, their families and communities in the antenatal period. Any reasonable venue costs will also be fully reimbursed in addition to the total potential course reimbursement of $850.

  • This fund is also available for you to create any type of free education that fits within the antenatal period, please feel free to get creative as to how you could use this funding. We will reimburse for each antenatal resource delivered at a negotiable rate for no more than the total amount of $850 GST inclusive if applicable. There is no limit to the amount of times you may apply for this funding.

  •  This is so all families and communities can have more access to a wide range of antenatal education, wisdom and practical resources that can help support, educate and empower families and communities before birth.

  • Some examples of ways to use this fund could be:

    • Professional development for health care professionals around postnatal depression, pelvic floor health, and breastfeeding.

    • Development of an educational resource such as a pamphlet for community distribution.

    • Delivery of an online course via The Village NZ hub for mums support team, such as dads and grandparents.

    • Feel free to share this with your wider network.
